Transfer To Primary School
- At the age of 7 children transfer to Primary School, normally this is Tickford Park Primary School in Newport Pagnell.
Our schools liaise very closely and the children are invited to visit Tickford Park several times during their final year. The teaching staff of Tickford Park also visit the children here at Sherington. This liaison makes the transition between the two stages of education as easy as possible for the children.
- The Head Teachers of all the Schools who transfer to Tickford Park (Stoke Goldington, North Crawley and Sherington) meet termly to discuss liaison with regard to curriculum continuity. Also staff from all schools in the Ousedale catchment area attend regular liaison meetings.
Tickford Park Primary School
- Tickford Primary School was formed in January 2007 by the merger of Lovat School (previously known as Lovat Middle School) and Riverside Infants School.
