Mobile Library - 2010 Timetable |
- The Mobile Library will be outside the shop on Wednesday mornings from 10.45 to 11.15 approx, once a fortnight.
- 2010 dates are: February 10, 24, March 10, 24, April 7, 21, May 5, 19.
- If you are housebound you can use the Home Reader Service, and have books delivered to your home.

- The combined Garden/Food waste collections are now weekly on Tuesdays.

- Meetings: Village Hall at 8pm. All ladies welcome
- 4 Feb - 'Textiles and Weaving'. Alena Rajtorava with some of her beautiful textile designs and a demonstration of her weaving techniques
- 18 Feb - 'Food Intolerances' - Carole Batchelor with useful advice about healthy eating and food intolerances.
- 4 Mar - 'Glamorous Hats and Fascinators for that Special Occasion'. Gill from Titfer's in Newport Pagnell on the work of a milliner, with some of her stylish creations
- Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month and are open to all ladies. The annual subscription is £6. Members pay £1 (visitors £1.50) when they attend. Further information from Julie Smith (Tel: 615043) - or just come along.

SCAN Kids |
- Now meeting in St Laud's Church - note the extra sessions on the third Tuesday of each month.
- 4s - 8s. First and third Tuesday in the month, 3.15 - 4.30pm
- Older children. Every Thursday, 7 - 8.30pm
- These are an active and fun 'Sunday club on a weekday' and each has its own particular flavour according to age. The Christian teaching forms an important part and a varied programme is run.
- Refreshments: tea and biscuits for Mums on Tuesdays, tuck shop on Thursdays.

- Classes in ballet for children age 3 years and over are held in Sherington Village Hall on Wednesday and Thursday as follows:

- 1.45-2.30 Pre School Ballet (3-4yrs)
- 3.45-4.30 Pre-Primary Ballet (4yrs plus and attending school)
- 4.30-5.15 Primary Ballet (5yrs plus)
- 5.15-6.00 Grade 2 Ballet (7yrs plus)
- 6.00-6.45 Grade 3 Ballet (8yrs plus)
Thursday
- 4.45-5.30 Grade 1 Ballet (6yrs plus)
- 5.30-6.30 Senior Ballet (10yrs plus)
- Melanie is a fully qualified dance teacher and a Registered Teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance. The children study the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and take examinations if they so wish.
