Sherington CE School
  Home Learning

  • At Sherington we aim to further develop the link between home and school through home learning. We see home learning as an extension of the planned curriculum, it can range from sharing books to discussing current topics. Curriculum Newsletters are sent home each term and include suggestions for how you can support your child at home.
  • Children in Year Two bring home weekly spellings and Maths. Where appropriate, Year One may also have weekly spellings.
  • All parents receive a Home Visit from our Foundation Stage Teacher prior to their child joining Sherington School in the Foundation Stage (4+). These parents will receive a pack consisting of our many booklets and leaflets and have the opportunity to discuss their child's individual needs.
