- The Sherington web site's 'virtual' presence will become an actual 'physical' presence on 21 June. We will be at the Fete giving you a rare chance to see behind the scenes. Come and see us!
- After the Fete, the web site will be carrying photos of the events, details of the competition winners, and news of how much money has been raised. During the afternoon we will be collecting the information and preparing the web pages, ready for upload to the internet immediately afterwards.
- This is an opportunity to:
- Browse the web site (on the PC hard drive - sorry, we won't have an internet connection).
- Learn how to create web pages.
- Have your photo taken for inclusion on the Fete web site.
- Check your community organisation is included on the web site and update the details.
- Make sure your community events are included on the 'What's On' page.
- Get a link to your own web site.
- Find out what other local information is online.
- Tell us your ideas and suggestions for making the web site better, more useful or easier to use.
- Become an information provider.
- Discuss how your group or event can have a web site like the Fete's to promote it.
- Ask general internet or computer questions.
- Meet the webmaster.
- If you haven't got internet access yet, see what you are missing.
